The shape of this agreement.

Gateway is a neuroacoustic wellness platform — guided sound experiences designed for calm, focus, sleep, and meditation. It uses binaural sound, ambient layers, and session architecture inspired by Monroe Institute research.

Gateway is not a medical device, treatment, or therapy. It will not diagnose, cure, or prevent any condition. If you have epilepsy, a hearing condition, or a serious mental health diagnosis, consult a physician before use.

• Use headphones at a safe, comfortable volume. Hearing damage from prolonged loud audio is real.
• Do not use Gateway while driving, operating machinery, or anywhere that requires alert attention.
• Gateway is for adults (18+). If you're under 18, do not create an account.
• If you feel disoriented, nauseous, or unwell at any point, stop the session.

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials private. One person per account. Don't share Pro access with others — it's a low price because we assume good faith.

We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to break it, or share access commercially.

Pro is a monthly or annual subscription billed in advance through Stripe. You can cancel any time from your account settings — your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. No partial refunds for unused months, but if something genuinely went wrong, email us.

We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll email you at least 30 days before any price change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.

If you save custom presets or session preferences, they belong to you. We hold them on your behalf and you can export or delete them any time.

The Focus States, session architectures, audio engine, written copy, and visual design of Gateway are ours. You can use them inside the app for personal use. Don't copy or republish them elsewhere without permission.

Gateway is provided as-is. We work hard to make it reliable and emotionally safe, but we can't guarantee specific outcomes from sessions. Individual responses to sound vary significantly. Your experience is your own.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gateway and its operators aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you've paid us in that period.

If we change these terms materially, we'll email account holders and post a notice on the homepage at least 14 days before changes take effect.
